Not a Consumer Reporting Agency. This site is not a consumer reporting agency as the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) defines that term. The information here, and on any linked tool, may not be used for decisions about credit, employment, insurance, tenant screening or any other purpose the FCRA covers. Background checks for those purposes must come from a screening provider that complies with the FCRA.
Privately Operated Reference Site
This site is privately operated. It is not a court, a sheriff's office or any government agency, and it is not endorsed by one. We do not issue warrants, serve them or maintain any official warrant system. We point readers toward the offices that do, including the District Court clerk at 43 Hope Street, the Superior Court clerk, the Sheriff's Office records channel and the local police department that made an arrest.
Accuracy of Information
Courts and sheriff's offices change hours, phone numbers, addresses, fees and procedures with little warning, and warrant records update during the day. We try to keep these pages current, and we cannot guarantee that any detail is correct at the moment you read it. Call the office directly before you travel to a counter or send a payment.
Warrant Status Changes - Verify Before You Rely
A warrant is a moving record. Process gets issued, recalled and served, and the entry changes when a court acts. A search that comes back empty is not proof that no warrant exists. The record may not have been entered yet, may sit with a different court department, or may be excluded from online viewing under Trial Court Rule 5. A listing you read last week may not describe the record today.
Treat every result as a starting point. Only the issuing court or the sheriff's office that served the process can confirm whether a warrant is open, recalled or no longer in effect.
Verify With the Official Source
Nothing on this site is an official record. When a decision depends on a warrant, its charge, its bond or whether it was cleared, get the answer from the office that holds the file. For a local criminal or traffic case that usually means the Greenfield District Court clerk, and for a felony case the Superior Court clerk in the same building. A statewide system exists, but it is closed to the public and open to law enforcement and the Registry of Motor Vehicles.
Not Legal Advice
Nothing on this site is legal advice. We explain how the process generally works in Franklin County and point to resources, and a website cannot replace a licensed Massachusetts attorney, especially for an open warrant, a surrender, a bond or the effect of a charge.
Third-Party Search Tools
Some pages here include search boxes run by outside companies. We do not control what they return, how they price their services or how they handle data you submit. Their results may be incomplete, outdated or matched to the wrong person, and they carry the same FCRA restrictions described at the top of this page.
Outbound Links
We link to court pages, sheriff's office pages, state agency resources and other outside materials. We are not responsible for the accuracy, content or availability of any site we do not operate.
No Records on This Site
This site hosts no warrants, case files, docket entries or court records. It points to the offices that hold them. To confirm a real warrant, check with the issuing court or the sheriff's office that served it.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can you tell me if there is a warrant for me?
No. This site holds no warrant system. The official answer comes from the issuing court or the sheriff's office, and a warrant lookup is the place to start.
Does a clear result mean I have no warrant?
No. A clear result is not proof. Warrants get added, served, recalled or restricted, and some never appear online at all. Confirm your status with the court.
Who can clear or recall a warrant?
Only the court that issued the process can recall it. Speak with an attorney and the issuing court about the step the judge requires.
